Tonia Aidoo, Post-Graduate Diploma
PGDiploma in Psychology, Guidance, and Counseling, University of Education – Winneba (2015); Diploma in Music, University of Education (2012); Diploma in Theology, Southern Ghana Bible College (2007).
From my childhood, I have had a special passion for music and worship and after my conversion, that desire grew stronger in me each day. I passionately prayed to pursue that desire. I later joined the Assemblies of God and became the main worship and praise leader in my local assembly, then the music director/the main translator of the church.
In 2003 I received the call of God upon my life for full-time ministerial training and so in 2004 I enrolled at the theological seminary and graduated in December 2007. Before I graduated, I was appointed the Music Director for the entire Western region. I was also elected as the assistant National Music director for the Assemblies of God, Ghana. This gave me the opportunity to lead worship and music at our General Council meetings and other programmes in the organization, as well as organize and prepare choirs for crusades and conventions. As a result, coupled with my desire to improve upon my musical career, I decided to study music at the university so my church, the organization, and the entire Body of Christ could benefit from my God-given gift. This became a reality as I graduated in 2012 with a Diploma in Music.
