Richard Cook, D.Min.
D.Min. The King’s University (2007); M.Div., The King’s University; B.A. in Biblical Studies, Bethany University
Dr. Richard Cook’s passion is to mentor men and women for fruitful and effective Pentecostal ministry in the 21st Century. With 48 years of pastoral experience and 15 years of academic experience, he has found that learning takes place most effectively in the context of relationship. For that reason, in his teaching he intentionally develops relationships and enjoys interacting with students in the classroom setting. His greatest desire is to help students go higher and further than he has ever gone by imparting truth, philosophy, and ministerial mechanics through engaging course materials. Dr. Cook serves as Chair of SUM’s Applied Theology Department.
