Dr. Andrew Anane-Asane accepted the Lord Jesus as his Lord and savior in 1978 when he was 19 years. In 1983, he enrolled in the Southern Ghana Bible College to train for ministry and has since served as a founding pastor of different churches in his home country, Ghana, and also here in the US. He served as the academic dean at Southern Ghana Bible College until he moved to the United States in January 2006 to pursue his PhD in in Intercultural Studies and graduated in 2010 at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. He serves as the national president and general presbyter of the Ghanaian Assemblies of God Fellowship, USA. He joined SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary in 2011 as an adjunct faculty and also teaches organizational leadership and management at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie. He is currently a doctoral candidate for a degree in Ed. D. in Organizational Leadership with an Emphasis in Higher Education at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. He is happy to continue working for SUM as the Director of Institutional Research and International Relations. He is currently married to his wonderful wife of 29 years and has three children.
