Jacqueline Smith, STM
Ph.D. in Old Testament, Dallas Theological Seminary (in progress); STM in Old Testament, Dallas Theological Seminary (2019); M.Div., Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (2016); B.S. in Nursing, Seton Hall University (2003).
Professor Smith teaches the Old Testament in the department of Biblical Studies. She is currently enrolled at Dallas Theological Seminary, completing her Ph.D. work in Old Testament Theology with special emphasis in biblical law and Torah. She received her STM (Master of Sacred Theology) from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2019, and M.Div. from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in 2016, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Seton Hall University in 2003.
Prof. Smith fell in love with the God of the Old Testament during her first OT Theology course while at AGTS, where she met a God who loves his people so entirely that he will do anything for them, except to put up with their disobedience. Her desire is that her students not only gain cognitive knowledge from biblical study, but also to deepen their relationship with their Creator and Savior.
Prof. Smith currently resides in Dallas, Texas, where she attends seminary. Her adopted daughter Ashley, son-in-law Cameron, and grand-dogs Chevy, Milo, and Buttercup live in Springfield, MO.
When not in the classroom, Prof. Smith enjoys reading, writing, crocheting, making greeting cards, and scrapbooking.
