Dr. Ashley Brooks is the Vice President for Wholistic Services & Trauma-Informed Care for the Restoration Initiative for Culture and Community and the founder of the Restoration Counseling Center of New Orleans, a faith-based non-profit counseling center and a derivative of the Restoration Initiative. She has been teaching and counseling for over 20 years and has a passion for doing both in an urban, multicultural setting. Dr. Brooks is the wife of Dr. Page Brooks, a church planter, pastor, theologian, and National Guard Chaplain. The Brooks’ multi-cultural family was uniquely crafted by the Lord through adoption. They have three amazing children: Karis (12), Alethia (10), and Josiah (7).
