Debbie married her high school sweetheart, Vance, who was instrumental in leading her into a divine encounter with the Lord in 1985. She then began an intense journey into the study of God’s Word, soon discovering her gift as a teacher. This gift began to find its place as her passion grew to make disciples both in the local church as well as in nations around the world. In 2003 Debbie received a very direct call to full-time ministry while on a short- term mission trip in Haiti.
After earning her D.Min. from Life Christian University, she not only served LCU as professor, but God’s call took her to various countries where she has ministered the Word of God to children, youth, women, missionaries, pastors, and church leaders. Debbie serves as the teaching and equipping pastor at Grace World Outreach Church, which hosts our Brooksville, Florida Cohort. Most recently Debbie has earned her Master of Divinity here at SUM and currently serves as professor as well as SUM Cohort Advisor.
