“Joey” Alan Le has been teaching theology and applied theology courses at SUM since 2012. As of 2019, he is a Ph.D. candidate, researching Christian theology at Regent University. His favorite courses are systematic theology and apologetics, and he specializes in theological aesthetics, social justice, and pneumatology. As a former Executive Pastor and Teaching Pastor, his great desire is to empower and mobilize people towards the creation of beauty and justice in the world. Joey is blissfully married to Esther, and enjoys living in the Bay Area, CA. When he’s not reading a theology book, or hanging out with his wife, he’s training hard at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
