Dr. Brandon Kertson is an adjunct professor of theology for SUM. He has also taught adjunct at William Jessup University and Azusa Pacific University for the past six years. His PhD is in theological studies from Regent University where he published his dissertation on a Pneumatology of urban poverty. He also has a number of journal articles and a book chapter published on the area of Pneumatology. Dr. Kertson also has an extensive ministry background. He is currently a missionary and the campus director for Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at San Diego State University and Grossmont College. He and his wife Kendra pioneered the ministry 5 years ago. He also served as a staff pastor in two churches and one campus ministry over 9 years focusing primarily on youth and worship ministry. He has 3 daughters and loves running, hiking, sports and board games.
